Fits a little high on the lamp at first, but after use, it settles nicely against the lamp. Just wish the tip was rounded more than coming to a small flat tip.
However, it completes the look on my vintage Starship lava lamp.

I cannot explain how long I’ve been looking for a replacement topper for my 20+ year old lava lamp! Fingers were crossed when I ordered a yellow one. And although not an exact match, it does the job and I’m happy!

Cap is exactly as described and pictured. Looks great on my lamp, like it’s always been there.
It’s white and matches my lava lamp base but it’s thin plastic , metal would be better but the lamp looks much better with a matching cap vs no cap.

Thinner and softer plastic than some others being made. Somewhat transparent and allows the light to show through. Put some foil inside to help with that. Quite a bit darker silver than the original aluminum caps.

Not what I expected. Obviously a printed version with a huge seam and somewhat translucent, so light shines through which cheapens the effect of the entire lamp. My b bad, I guess. Don't bother, too pricey for what it's worth. DISAPPOINTED!!!
